Spirit Day on Friday: Jersey Day

Math - Today we learned a new skill: Multiplying a 2 digit number by another 2 digit number. We will get more time tomorrow to work on our assignment, so it is not due for homework.
Note about Math Tests from Mr. S: I had mentioned we would be loading these onto SeeSaw today. However, I was absent from school today. As soon as I return, we will get all our students onto SeeSaw and load these tests.

ELA - We had time to work on our Dialogue Comics assignment. These will be due on Wednesday, but we won't be getting any more class time to work on them.

Religion - We worked on our Gospel Timelines today. Most students should be started on their good copies.

Arts - We had our final class to work on our Op Art Shapes task. These should be finished by Wednesday.

Reminder: Library Circulation tomorrow - Make sure you have your books here to return/renew.

Tuesday, 12 October 2021

Math - We moved on with our discussion of Mental Math today, looking at repeated halving and doubling. Finish the following text questions for tomorrow.

 Pg 78-79, Qs 3-10 (11, 12)

Spelling - We had a chance to review and practice our Week 3 words. Quiz tomorrow.

Religion - We took some time to reflect on our Thanksgiving weekend, and write about what we are thankful for in our Religion journals.
Then, we had time to work on our Gospel Timelines. We will set a due date for this later this week.

Reminder: It has been unseasonably warm this fall, but now it looks like October weather has arrived! Make sure to bring warm clothes for outdoor recess.
